Job Title: Accounting Analyst, Statutory Accounting

Role Summary: Comprehensive accounting support for our affiliated companies ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial processes.

Additional Responsibilities:

·   Streamline work order entry for affiliated company by maintaining accuracy and timeliness, working collaboratively with team.

·   Manage customer billing cycle by preparing and distributing invoices with precision and efficiency.

·   Maintain accurate inventory data for affiliated company through regular review and reconciliation.

·   Perform bank reconciliations to ensure all transactions are accurate and accounted for. Resolve discrepancies.

·   Prepare journal entries for various accounting activities. Maintain the accuracy and integrity of the SAP accounting system through data entry.

·   Analyze general ledger accounts to provide insights into company performance and to identify and address any discrepancies or areas requiring further investigation.

·   Collaborate with vendors and customers to address any outstanding issues or inquiries.

·   Assist AP team to ensure vendor invoices are processed and paid timely.

·   Special projects assigned by management.

·   Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, including GAAP and IFRS.

·   Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

·   Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.

·   Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

·   Proficiency in Google Workspace (Gmail, Sheets, Docs) and Microsoft Excel.

·   Responsive and dependable with excellent follow-through.

·   Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.        

Function-Specific Required Skills and Competencies:

·   Experience with inventory control and management. Familiarity with inventory management software is a plus.

·   Proficient and accurate data entry skills.

·   Experience with accounting software, familiarity with SAP a plus.

·   Journal entry experience required. Ability to properly create and post journal entries.

·   Strong analytical and reconciliation skills. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve posting, data entry, and system errors.

·   Occasional travel will be required.

Required Minimum Years Experience:

Minimum of 4 years of experience in an accounting or analytical role.

Required Minimum Education:

A bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field is preferred.
