Water Treatment Consultant

A Manhattan-based Water Treatment consulting company is currently seeking a seasoned industry professional to join their team. This position requires a minimum of 5 years experience working in the Water Treatment industry in the New York City area. Candidates must be familiar with auditing cooling water management plans, and must be knowledgeable in all aspects of NYC Local Law 77. The candidate should be extremely knowledgeable in building water systems, including cooling towers and boilers, and have the ability to write reports based on their findings. They must be comfortable meeting face-to-face with clients throughout the NYC area, and willing to go on-site to collect water samples.

IMPORTANT REQUIREMENTS:

• 5 years’ experience in the water treatment industry

• BS in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering

• Have a strong knowledge of building system's water chemistry and biology

• Ability to communicate technical details, chemistry and concerns with treated water systems

• Track and manage projects concerning water treatment for customers

• Be able to build on existing customer relationships and assist with new business development

• Willingness to travel within NYC and surrounding Metropolitan area to collect water samples

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

• Ability to work independently
