As an IT Manager at RP, you'll support the internal IT operating infrastructure, taking ownership for the management of information technology systems and tools in a people-first environment that values your expertise, encourages entrepreneurship, and promotes and rewards innovation. In the role, you'll work across the RP organization to develop and deliver on IT initiatives that ultimately impact RP's operational effectiveness and you'll build and contribute to an environment that promotes employee engagement and maximizes employee potential.
This is currently a non-supervisory, remote position, and there may be the expectation of occasional travel to our HQ office in Ashburn, VA (less than 10%).
Responsibilities:
- Administers and supports the maintenance and development of RPs Microsoft 365 environment, ensuring the operational health of the SharePoint online environment including security, availability, performance, interoperability, and reliability
- Ensures all employees have the technology resources (hardware/software) required to perform their job responsibilities and/or support the customer by acquiring, maintaining, and tracking RPs IT assets
- Administers new user setup and IT orientation including installing and configuring hardware, software, and network services
- Trains, educates, and builds standard policies and operating procedures for end-users with a focus on Microsoft 365 capabilities, IT compliance, cybersecurity, and collaboration tools (OneDrive, Skype, Outlook, etc.)
- Advises, designs, and develops IT solutions or Microsoft 365 improvements that promote operational (business) continuity and support employee engagement across RP
- Develop internal solutions using tools such as Microsoft Power Automate and/or UI path to create operational efficiencies and improve user experience
- Coordinates with RP's IT Solution Architects to identify, qualify, and maintain strategic, operational IT certifications such as CMMI and CMMC
- Designs, implements, and maintains a single-tier information technology help desk, providing basic Tier 1 and 2 support, troubleshooting, and escalation
- Develops unique, effective security strategies for software systems, networks, and hardware to monitor and prevent software for external intrusions, attacks, and hacks
- Perform regular security tests and security monitoring ensuring security of data, network access and backup systems
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
Experience:
Required Qualifications:
- Associates degree and 3-5 years of experience in the IT industry. Additional working or military experience may be considered in lieu of the educational requirements.
- Experience in Microsoft 365 administration
- Experience with automation tools such as Microsoft Power Automate and/or UI path
- Familiarity and/or experience with industry related IT certifications such as CMMI and CMMC
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust
- Ability to work for any US employer without requiring sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret Security Clearance
- Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel)
- Familiarity with cloud services and physical infrastructure
- Familiarity with RPA
