Heat Press Operator

Job description

This position requires you to press the images onto the hats or shirts and sometimes will need to help out with weeding out designs.

For part-time position: 9am to 2pm with 15 mins break

• Analyzing and understanding project specifications and clients’ needs before starting each project.
• Setting up machines and supervising the pressing process
• Carefully read instructional manuals to ensure smooth troubleshooting and repair processes.
• Performing regular machine and inventory inspections and reporting any issues or reordering stock as required.
• Providing suggestions regarding the design or placement
• Keeping track of work orders and updating records.

*Must multitask and work at a fast pace

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Observe and enforce manufacturing safety practices
Perform area clean-up as needed

KNOWLEDGE OF:

Basic knowledge of computer

QUALIFICATIONS:

High School graduate or GED equivalent
Must be able to speak, read/comprehend and write in English

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS:

Physical Demands: Standing and walking (up to continuously); bend/stoop, twist neck and torso (frequently); reach, hold, grasp, push, pull, lift/carry raw materials.

Working Conditions: Work indoors; exposure to temperatures commensurate with outdoor seasonal temperatures.
