Construction Project Manager

Industrial Construction Manager - Pittsburgh, PA

A highly respected Industrial Construction and Engineering Contractor is searching for an experienced Construction Manager for large, vertical industrial projects throughout the United States.

• The selected candidate will report to the home office near Pittsburgh, PA and should be open to occasional travel throughout the U.S.
• Leadership responsibilities to include engineering and management of construction personnel, planning, cost/estimating support and assisting with schedule.
• Attending preconstruction and constructability review meetings and assisting with design team on related project(s).
• Directly interfacing with clients/stakeholders during all phases of construction providing support, reports and overseeing all technical aspects of project implementation.
• Development of preferred subcontractors, vendors for multiple divisions and scope of work.
• Collaboration with the estimating department, business development and senior leadership to assist with preparation of estimates and proposals.
• Establish and manage project budget within the preferred accounting system.
• Determine staffing needs and requirements for each unique project. Ensuring quality control/quality management.
• A minimum of 15 years’ experience of construction, design, finance, and management experience on large vertical projects.
• Industrial construction experience such as heavy construction, manufacturing, power/nuclear plants is preferred. Civil site development experience is required.
• A four-year construction or engineering degree is required.

Compensation:

• $140K-$170K depending on experience, plus healthcare benefits, 401K. Reasonable relocation will be offered to the selected candidate.
