UPP Global is a growing full-service parking management company with expertise in all verticals of parking. We are active in 8 states along the Eastern Seaboard with over 300 locations and counting. Currently we are looking for a Parking Enforcement Agent to patrol dozens of parking facilities and lots under management in the Portland, ME downtown area. The ideal candidate will be responsible, punctual, and energetic.

Position Key Highlights:

• Earn an average range of $20 - $25 / hour!
• Full Time Position
• Night and Weekend availability is required!
• Candidates must possess a valid license and able to undergo a motor vehicle background check.
• Some technical proficiency is required, as a parking management system utilizes hand held mobile devices, computerized tracking, and data entry/reporting.
• Familiarity with Downtown Portland is helpful in this role

Job Responsibilities and Duties:

• Maintain a pleasant, friendly, and professional demeanor with all guests, parkers, co-workers, and clients
• Patrol and monitor each lot to ensure that only authorized vehicles are parked
• Enforcing lots by issuing citations based on our preapproved guidelines to any non-paid or time-expired parkers
• Manage lot signage, for example: taking down, repairing, and assembling signs
• Maintain lot cleanliness by picking up trash, cleaning signage, and other general lot maintenance
• Trouble shoot parking meters/equipment when applicable
• Responsible for preparing reports and filing paperwork regarding violations and citations
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Must be proficient with mobile applications and hand-held devices
• Must be willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Must be comfortable sitting, standing, walking, running, driving and being active for most of the day
• Must possess current drivers' license and willing to undergo a MVR (driving) Record check
• Must have a clean, professional appearance at all times and strictly adhere to the company's personal appearance and uniform policies
• Must be at least 18 years of age willing to undergo a criminal background check.
• Must have a good work ethic and be a team player.
• Possess strong customer service and communication skills

Salary Description
