Manufacturing Design Engineer (Entry level)

Job title: Design Engineer (entry level)

Duration: 12 months (with possible extension)
Location: Maplewood, MN
Pay Range: 25-30/hr. 

Responsibilities:

• Work alongside engineers to support 3D CAD drawing and design tasks.
• Make simple design changes and create CAD drawings as needed.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design fixtures and prototypes.
• Assist in prototype making and measurements.
• Follow established procedures while also contributing ideas and concepts for product design.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute to overall design concepts.
• Interface with other divisions to ensure alignment on design goals and objectives.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Proficiency in CAD software for 3D modeling and design.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and be hands-on in tasks.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with Python scripting.
• Previous experience in prototype development or design engineering roles.
