• Skills: Two years of the following experience is required: Emergency room experience is required IV insertion and phlebotomy skill is required Conscious sedation
• Education: RN License – required
• Primary Source Verification – required
• AHA BLS – required
• AHA ACLS – required
• AHA PALS – required
• IV Certification – required
• TNCC - preferred for all locations
• Certifications & Licenses: IV Certification - RN License

Responsibilities but not limited to the following:

• Work with children and ask questions about their health for diagnosis and documenting patients' symptoms and medical history for the doctor
• Assess a child's needs and provide initial care
• Identify changes in children's symptoms and intervene in emergency situations
• Participate in pain management for children
• Monitor temperature, pulse, breathing, and blood pressure and keeping accurate records
• Deal with the anxieties and demands of parents, and help families to deal with their child's illness or injury
