Permit & Licensing Coordinator

ARL Transport LLC is a drayage agent-based company with over 40 years in the transportation industry.

We are looking for an experienced transportation professional with at least 2 years of experience in transportation permits and licensing, a strong work ethic, and attention to detail. Proficient in excel. 

Job Responsibilities and Functions

• Ordering Oversize, overweight, single trip, and annual permits.
• Researching the capability of obtaining oversize/overweight permits.
• Collect and provide data to billing and settlement for proper invoicing.
• Track and manage all permit costs and activities for all participating agencies.
• Ordering specialty permits (Liquor permit, NY huts, etc.)
• Renewing state and Canadian providences’ yearly filings. (IFTA sticker, IN IRP, etc.)
• Ordering bonds for special state requirements and yearly maintenance.
• Updating Federal yearly requirements (MCS150, UCR, Service of processor)
• Purchasing specialized equipment for port access (RFID tags, Canada transponders)
• Entering and deleting trucks and drivers into port systems.
• Creating and setting up new motor carriers and divisional companies
• Assisting in processing in onboarding specialized equipment.
• Processing loads crossing at the Canadian border.
• Ordering of PAPs and PARS for border crossings.
• Maintaining CTPAT validation.
• Maintaining Smartway yearly validation.
• Monitoring the Spotted Lanternfly requirements.
