We are looking for a part time Dental Hygienist to join our team! We are a modern, family oriented, general and cosmetic dental practice looking for an exceptional Dental Hygienist that provides comprehensive care. For this position, the hygienist will perform high quality and efficient procedures while being able to build their relationship with each of our patients. The ideal candidate should possess exceptional communication skills, a superior knowledge of dentistry and dental terminology, familiar with digital x-rays, and a friendly personality. We have a very friendly staff with a family like atmosphere. Ability to administer anesthesia is a plus. Our office is equipped with epic laser, Ultra-Sonic, CBCT, and Adec chairs.

General Accountabilities

Uses dental instruments to check and clean gums.
Feels lymph nodes to detect swelling or tenderness associated with dental disease.
Examines gums for sores or disease using probes and other dental instruments.
Applies fluoride and other cavity protectors.
Charts and records conditions of disease for diagnosis and treatment.
Takes and develops X-rays.
Administers local anesthetics, as directed.
Provides patient with proper instruction for treatment of disease.
Forms and molds cast impressions.
