Elevator Mechanic

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Commercial Elevator Mechanic to join our team. As a Commercial Elevator Mechanic, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing commercial elevators in various buildings and properties.

Responsibilities:

- Maintain, and repair commercial elevators according to safety codes and regulations
- Conduct regular inspections to identify any malfunctions or potential issues
- Troubleshoot and diagnose problems with elevator systems
- Repair or replace faulty components or parts
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including lubrication, cleaning, and adjustments
- Test elevator systems to ensure proper functionality and safety
- Keep detailed records of all maintenance and repair work
- Provide excellent customer service and address client inquiries or concerns
- Stay up-to-date with industry advancements and safety regulations

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certified Elevator Technician (CET) or equivalent certification preferred
- Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Commercial Elevator Mechanic
- Strong knowledge of elevator systems, components, and safety codes
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy equipment
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
