Quality Assurance (Junior)

Personnel Qualifications:

• At least five (5) years of experience in task order technologies, applications, or processes.

Capabilities:

• Requires strong communications skills and working knowledge of a system development methodology.
• Experience with gathering user requirements, technical writing and system documentation.
• Experience with quality assurance (QA) testing of applications, data analysis and querying.
• Ability to identify defects, track resolution of problems, and retest defect corrections.
• Provides technical and administrative direction for personnel performing software development tasks, including the review of work products for correctness, adherence to the design concept and to user standards, review of program documentation to assure Government standards/requirements are adhered to, and for progress in accordance with schedules.
• Prepares milestone status reports and delivers/presentations on the system concept to colleagues, subordinates and end user representatives.
• Establishes and maintains a process for evaluating software and associated documentation.
• Determines the resources required for quality control.
• Conducts formal and informal reviews at pre-determined points throughout the development life cycle.
• Provides daily supervision and direction to support staff.
