Job Description

Earthborne Trucks and Equipment is a leading provider of tree care equipment and solutions, dedicated to helping arborists, landscapers, and forestry professionals excel in their work. With a strong commitment to quality, innovation, and customer satisfaction, we are seeking a Tree Care Equipment Sales Specialist to join our dynamic team.

As a Tree Care Equipment Sales Specialist, you will play a vital role in expanding our market presence and driving sales growth in the tree care industry. You will be responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with customers, understanding their needs, and recommending the best tree care equipment solutions from our product portfolio. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with a wide range of customers, from small landscaping businesses to large forestry operations. The territory will specifically focus on Philadelphia and Chester County.

Responsibilities:

• Customer Relationship Building: Develop and nurture strong relationships with existing and potential customers within the tree care industry.
• Product Knowledge: Gain in-depth knowledge of our tree care equipment and solutions to effectively communicate their features and benefits to customers.
• Consultative Sales: Identify customer needs and provide tailored solutions by recommending the most suitable equipment and accessories.
• Sales Growth: Meet and exceed sales targets and objectives through effective prospecting, lead generation, and closing deals.
• Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor products, and market conditions to adjust sales strategies accordingly.
• Product Demonstrations: Conduct product demonstrations and training sessions for customers as needed.
• Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and sales forecasts.
• Customer Support: Provide exceptional post-sales support, including addressing customer inquiries and resolving any issues.

Qualifications 

• Valid Drivers License and clean driving record
• Minimum 2 years of experience selling Tree Care Equipment or a similar field.
• Basic mechanical skills
• Meet quota objectives provided by management
• Ability to maintain and grow a territory by qualifying new accounts.
• Demonstrating equipment to new prospects.
• Managing and updating daily activities within the organizations CRM program.
• Attendance of Industry trade shows and sponsored events.
• Maintaining a positive attitude and the desire to succeed.
• CDL License a plus. Knowledge of driving with a trailer and properly secure equipment for transport.
