Job Title: Network InfiniBand Support Service

Location: Ashburn, VA - 100% onsite

Duration: 6+ Months

Job Description:

Specific deliverables:

• Plan and implement InfiniBand network configurations tailored to meet the organization's high-performance computing requirements
• Configure and fine-tuning InfiniBand switches, routers, adapters, and other hardware components to ensure maximum efficiency and reliability within the network infrastructure
• Implement security measures and protocols to safeguard sensitive data transmitted over the InfiniBand network, ensuring compliance with industry standards and organizational security policies.
• Monitor network performance and address connectivity issues to maintain optimal uptime for the InfiniBand network including troubleshooting technical problems efficiently and effectively
• Collaborate with hardware and software vendors to evaluate new InfiniBand technologies and recommend enhancements to existing infrastructure based on industry trends and best practices

Recommended Qualifications:

1.Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.

2. 5+ years proven experience working with InfiniBand technology in enterprise or Lab

environments.

3. In-depth knowledge of InfiniBand architecture, protocols, and standards. Expertise in

RoCE is a plus.

4. Hands-on experience configuring and troubleshooting InfiniBand switches, routers,

adapters, and related hardware.

5. Strong understanding of network security principles and best practices.

6. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

7. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with tight deadlines.

8. Effective communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to

non-technical stakeholders.

9. Industry certifications such as InfiniBand Trade Association (IBTA) certifications, Cisco

Certified Network Professional (CCNP), or equivalent are a plus.

10. Experience in a coding/scripting languages such as Python, shell scripting etc. along with

knowledge in code repository solutions
