Accountabilities

• Every decision, every action, and every goal will be made based on the Core Values and Mission Statement.
• Coordinates with ARSM to set annual performance goals and metrics aligned with company strategy.
• Performs quality work while adhering to our Core Values.
• Must have a valid N.C. Driver’s license and the ability to operate Witherspoon vehicles as needed.
• Proficient use of mobile devices for communication purposes. Checks email daily to receive instructions for route.
• Communicates with customers regarding their garden’s needs, suggested improvements and enhancements (upsells), or potential problems. Calls customer within 48 hours of request.
• Evaluates the garden on each visit watching for possible problems, and alerts supervisor of any problems or needs.
• Must be able to lift 75 pounds or more.
• Responsible for meeting schedule of weekly care of roses defined service route in a timely manner.
• Ensures special jobs, new beds and plantings are done as requested by the client in accordance with the guidelines of Witherspoon Rose Culture.
• Seeks to continuously increase knowledge of rose care through available educational resources including attending staff meetings to improve rose care practices and better serve our customers.
• Reports completion of all work to supervisor.
• Prepares new gardens and assists in pulling bushes for planting.
• Helps train and oversee work of Route Assistant.
• Uses timely wisely and helps to see that others do so also.
• Follows all practices set up by management to facilitate good communication within the staff and provide excellent service to the customer.
• Obtains and maintains a N.C. Pesticide license.
• Follows and abides by all safety polices.
• Various other duties as needs arise or assigned by a supervisor.
