Pest Control Technician

Overview: As a Heat Applicator Technician (HAT) in the Bed Bug Control industry, you will play a crucial role in effectively applying heat treatments for pest control, specializing in indoor and outdoor settings. Your responsibilities will encompass setting up, applying, and dismantling heating equipment, engaging with clients, adhering to schedules, conducting inspections, providing quotes, and maintaining a professional work environment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform indoor and outdoor pest control heat applications, including setup, operation, and breakdown of heating equipment.
• Engage with customers, providing basic information about equipment and services.
• Adhere to assigned schedules for applications and equipment maintenance.
• Maintain company equipment, vehicles, and property in clean and functional condition.
• Conduct commercial and residential inspections for pest control assessments.
• Prepare and deliver quotes for services.
• Conduct post-service inspections and deliver After Action Reports.
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in Pest Control (specifically with Bed Bugs).
• Possession of a Master Pest Control License (Preferred).
• Valid driver’s license with an excellent driving record.
• Proficiency in driving with a trailer, including backing up.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to use Microsoft Outlook, Teams, and Word.
• Quick learner with the ability to work independently.
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Capable of lifting up to 40 lbs. and climbing multiple flights of stairs.
• Able to pass a criminal background check.
• Ability to be employee bonded

Schedule:

• Flexible on-demand work schedule.
• Typically Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturday shifts if required.
• Potential for extended shifts compensated accordingly.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
