Job Description
We are looking for a Gerber Paragon Cutter!
This position is for a machine operator who has experience using a Gerber machine. The position is for a long-standing fast-growing manufacturer.
Monday - Friday 7 am - 5 pm and occasional Saturdays from 7 am - 12 pm.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for operating the automated cutting system and producing covers for upholstered furniture.
- Responsible for maintaining a clean and organized area.
- Must be able to lead and have a strong personality.
- The machine must always run.
Essential Functions:
- Ability to read and interpret production tickets.
- Ability to determine cutting procedures for different types of fabrics.
- Ability to measure repeats of fabric and determine cutting direction.
- Ability to accurately label cut pieces and bundle.
Preferred Skills:
- Must have strong computer skills
- Must be a team player
- Communication proficiency
- Time management skills
