Job Description

Our financial services client is seeking a Tax Accountant to join their team. You will be responsible for preparing and analyzing financial records for our company. CANDIDATE MUST RESIDE IN COLUMBUS, AKRON OR CINCINNATI, OHIO.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and examine accounting records, financial statements, taxes, and other financial reports on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis
Develop and analyze reporting for business operations and budgets
Perform audits, ensuring adherence to standard requirements
Create new processes to improve financial efficiency
Report analysis and findings to management team

Qualifications:

5-7 years previous experience in corporate tax
Bachelor's degree in Accounting
CPA preferred
Strong Corporate tax return experience
Experience with current computer accounting programs and reporting tools (Excel & Word)
Detail and deadline-oriented
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
