Job Responsibilities:
Include, but not limited to the following………
- Managing and staying current with applicable laws and mandates
- Designs and administers HR policies and procedures
- Prepares internal employee communications regarding compensation, benefits and company policies
- Collects and maintains HR data related to compensation, benefits, training, recruitment and assists with making recommendations for improvements and management reporting
- Workers Compensation/Workers Compensation Audits
- Terminations
- Employee Relations
- Determining Disciplinary Actions & Maintaining Disciplinary Records
- Impartial Investigation & Proper Reporting & Filing of Harassment Allegations
- Creation and Maintenance of Job Descriptions/Salary Grade Maintenance
- 401K census/enrollments/audits (Form 5500)
- Annual Benefit Review/Reconciliation/Renewal
- Consistently maintaining Proper Personnel Files
- Interfacing and a liaison between (3) sister companies
- Assist with day-to-day HR Operations
Education/Experience:
- College degree in a related field or applicable experience.
- Professional Human Resources (PHR) or Senior Professional Human Resources (SPHR) certification preferred
- 2-5 years working as a HR professional is recommended
- Human Resources experience in a manufacturing facility/environment preferred
- Working knowledge of a variety of federal and state employment laws such as: EEOC, FLSA, ADA, ADEA, AAP, ACA, FMLA and all other applicable.
- Experience with COBRA paperwork execution
- Experience with ADP, Lotus Notes and Outlook preferred
- Strong interpersonal communications skills
- Ability to research and analyze diverse types of data and information
- Familiarity using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively with multiple stake holders through executing both verbal and written
- Multi-tasking skills are key in this role
