Purpose of Position:

At Massanutten Village Family Entertainment Center (MVFEC), we strive to provide our guests with an enjoyable and professional atmosphere. Attendants will provide an invaluable service in maintaining a culture that produces memorable experiences for our guests serving as the first interaction at the Family Entertainment Center.

An employee in this position will be expected to work in any of the attractions as assigned, with duties including ride operation, ride maintenance, explaining rules and enforcing them, ensuring the games are properly functioning, receiving payments, recording these payments and provide change to customers.

Safety is everybody's business. Safety is to be given primary importance in every aspect of planning and performing all MVFEC activities.

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Collect Tickets.

· State attraction rules to the customer before ride begins.

· Operate attractions

· Ring in charges, receive payments, issue change accurately

· Daily cash reports.

· Maintain attractions presentable, clean, and free from hazards.

· Clean restrooms.

· Communicate to customer the cost to play, which course to play on.

· Determine who is eligible to use the tennis courts, explain cost to rent equipment, etc.

· Ring charge in cash register, collect amount due, collect payment and issue change.

· Assign tennis courts.

· Other duties as assigned.

Direct Reports:

This position has no supervisory responsibility.

Training and Experience Required to Perform Job Functions (minimum):

· Ability to work quickly and carefully.

· Good communication skills.

· Work with cash registers.

· Must be trustworthy, dependable and detail oriented.

· Must be friendly, professional, and presentable.

· Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Requirements:

· Reasonably good health.

· Ability to stand for long periods.

· Ability to be exposed to heat or cold weather conditions.

· Must be 16 years of age or older.

· Ability to lift twenty-five pounds.

· Must be able to operate and carry a leaf blower.
