CDC has a full-time opportunity for a Treatment Coordinator at our St. Paul clinic. This position serves an integral role in the clinic as they help patients understand the cost of recommended treatment and makes appropriate financial arrangements with patients.
Treatment Coordinator Key Responsibilities:
- Review schedule daily for patients financial obligations
- Verify all patients’ insurance – state and commercial
- Collect payments and/or copays from patients
- Receive overflow calls from scheduling coordinators
- Receive and return calls from patients pertaining to financial quotes for treatment plans
- Schedule patient appointments as needed
- Answer patients questions regarding billing and payment options
- Process application for sliding fee scale and care grants
- Post payments on patient accounts
- Send out pre-estimates to patients
Flexible Hours:
- Monday - Thursday: 8:00am – 5:00pm
- Friday: 8:00am – 2:00pm
Treatment Coordinator Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of customer service experience, preferably within an office setting
- Bilingual proficiency in Hmong, Karen, Somali or Spanish preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Organized and skilled at multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment
- Experienced within MS Office or other computer software
