PATIENT COORDINATOR

ABOUT YOU:

We are seeking an energetic, compassionate Patient Coordinator / Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. In this position, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our clinic and providing excellent patient care. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, previous medical office experience, and the ability to multitask in a dynamic environment.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

Greet and check-in patients, ensuring accurate demographic and insurance information- Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar- Answer phone calls, explain treatment protocols effectively, and respond to patient inquiries- Assist with patient registration and intake process- Provide medical administrative support for clinic- Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information-Verify and explain insurance coverage to patients.

WHAT WE WANT:

High school diploma or equivalent required; additional medical administrative training or certification preferred. Previous experience in a healthcare setting is required- Knowledge of medical industry- Proficiency in using electronic health record systems and other medical software applications- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a dynamic environment- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping and communicating- Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient information at all times, you are passionate about providing exceptional patient care, possess excellent organizational skills, and thrive in a dynamic healthcare environment, we encourage you to apply for the position of Medical Assistant / Patient Coordinator.
