Residential Support Specialist

Position Summary

Cross Country Workforce Solutions Group (CCWSG) has partnered with a residential care facility for women and their small children assisting with Substance Abuse recovery. 
We are in critical need of a compassionate Support Staff for the 31-bed residential program in the Downey area of Los Angeles County. The position will be for the Swing Shift. 

• Full Time Hours 


• Overnight Shift 11pm-7am / Swing Shift 2pm- 11pm


• 8 hour shifts


• Paid Every Friday! 


• Temp to Hire 


• Pay- $20-$24/Hour

 

The Support Staff (Swing/ Graveyard shift) at the Residential Treatment Program for women and their children in South Los Angeles ensures the safety and security of the program during swing shift hours. They emphasize safety by ensuring all doors are locked, clients are in bed, and conducting hourly walks throughout the facility (inside and out). Additionally, they handle administrative tasks efficiently to support program operations. With a flexible schedule for the 24-hour residential program, this role is dedicated to upholding the client’s mission of enhancing the health and well-being of underserved populations in Los Angeles County

Requirements

• Knowledge of the alcohol and substance abuse field


• Knowledge of Medication Assisted Treatment and Harm Reduction strategies.


• Proficiency in de-escalation techniques.


• High school diploma or GED.


• Minimum two years of sobriety if in recovery.


• Basic computer skills, including familiarity with email and Microsoft programs.


• Strong oral and written communication skills.


• Professionalism with strong boundaries.


• Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.


• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish preferred.
