Overview
Assists with tracking of paper/electronic records for the firm’s Lexington, KY office. This includes prioritizing, documenting and assisting attorneys and the firm’s staff with requests. Assistance may involve hands-on help.

Assists with tracking of paper/electronic records for the firm’s Lexington, KY office. This includes prioritizing, documenting and assisting attorneys and the firm’s staff with requests. Assistance may involve hands-on help.
Primary Responsibilities
- Knowing firm’s records retention policies and procedures
- Creating record of physical files in firm database
- Preparing physical files
- Organization and tracking of physical files, including assistance with filing
- Closing files in database
- Preparing files for off-site storage
- Retrieval of files from off-site storage as well as tracking locations of files
- Other projects assigned by Director of Information Technology
- Experience working in professional environment
- Knowledge of Word and Excel, and familiarity with computer databases
- Good understanding of records management
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Ability to absorb and retain information quickly
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of all information received
- Highly self-motivated and directed
- Keen attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
- Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
- Position may require ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work with old records which may contain dust and/or other debris
