Schedule: Monday -Friday | Rotating Weekends

First Year Income: $78,000-$105,500

License Requirements: Virginia Clinical OR Provisional License (LPC, LCSW, LMFT) (Resident in Counseling, LMSW, MFT)

Sandstone Care is a leading provider of comprehensive and individualized treatment programs for adolescents and young adults. We have a facility in Chantilly, Virginia, where we offer detox services as part of our continuum of care. Our detox program addresses the physical, mental, emotional, and social aspects of recovery, and prepares our clients for the next level of care. Our program is designed to help our clients develop the skills and tools they need to achieve lasting recovery and thrive.

As a Detox Therapist at Sandstone Care, you will:

• Conduct individual, group, and family sessions, using evidence-based modalities and interventions.

Qualifications

• Licensed Clinician: Possess a master's degree in a relevant field and hold the required licensure, such as LPC / Resident in Counseling, LCSW / LMSW, or LMFT / resident in marriage and family therapy.
• Experience in Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Treatment: Bring prior experience in substance use disorder (SUD) treatment, with a preference for experience in detox practices.
• Crisis Management Skills: Proficient in providing support to clients during moments of crisis, equipped with effective verbal de-escalation techniques.
• Collaborative Attitude: A team player who is dedicated to actively engaging in our mission to foster positive change.
• Minimum of 2 years of non-internship experience treating substance use disorders.
• Minimum of 2 years on non-internship experience working in a residential treatment center or outpatient facility
