Physicians Assistant PA

Seeking a PA to work in a private office based surgical center with a solo surgeon world renowned for male and trans male chest and body sculpting.   Advantages include working with a small, dedicated and friendly staff, scheduled elective outpatient surgeries only, established protocols and preset document  templates in user friendly EMR, no documentation for insurance purposes, four day work week (Monday-Thursday) and opportunity for career and salary growth within the practice. 

Job Responsibilities:
    •    Conduct pre-operative and post-operative evaluations under physician guidance 
    •    Obtain patient histories and physical examinations
    •    Prescribe medications as needed following established protocols and state regulations.
    •    Review and answer patient emails and calls 
    •    Educate patients and their families on surgical procedures and post-operative care
    •    Participate in ongoing training and professionael development activities to stay current with the latest practices in surgical          care.

Qualifications:

    •    Graduation from an accredited Physician’s Assistant program.
    •    Current PA state license and certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
    •    Experience in a surgical setting, particularly in an office-based practice, is preferred.
    •    Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of effectively explaining complex issues to patients and families.
    •    Ability to work collaboratively,  assisting throughout the office as needed
