Nail Technician

We are looking for a skilled and creative Nail Technician to join our team at "The Polish Nail Lounge". As a Nail Technician, you will provide exceptional nail care services to our valued clients, ensuring their nails are beautifully manicured and pedicured. Your expertise and attention to detail will contribute to creating a relaxing and pampering experience for our clients.

Responsibilities:

• Perform a range of nail care services including manicures, pedicures, nail extensions, and nail art, while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Consult with clients to understand their preferences and offer recommendations on nail shapes, colors, and styles to enhance their individual beauty.
• Provide nail treatments such as cuticle care, nail shaping, buffing, and applying various types of nail polish.
• Apply and maintain artificial nail enhancements, such as acrylic or gel extensions, ensuring proper technique and hygiene practices.
• Offer additional services like paraffin wax treatments, hand and foot massages, and exfoliation as part of a luxurious spa experience.
• Educate clients on proper nail care, hygiene, and maintenance routines to extend the life of their manicures and pedicures.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest trends, techniques, and products in nail care and nail artistry to offer innovative and on-trend services.
• Ensure the salon workstation is clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies and tools.
• Adhere to all sanitation and sterilization guidelines to maintain a safe and hygienic environment for clients.
• Provide exceptional customer service by actively listening to clients' needs, addressing any concerns, and creating a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Nail Technician or similar role.
• Nail Technician certification or relevant training from an accredited program.
• Proficiency in a wide range of nail services including manicures, pedicures, nail extensions, and nail art.
• Knowledge of various nail products, tools, and equipment.
• Creativity and attention to detail for creating unique and personalized nail designs.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with clients and provide excellent customer service.
• Ability to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the work area.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays to accommodate client appointments.
• Passion for the beauty industry and a genuine interest in staying updated on the latest nail care trends and techniques.
• Professionalism, reliability, and a positive attitude towards teamwork.
