Role and Responsibilities:

As a Radiologic Technologist - X-Ray, you will be responsible for providing mobile X-Ray and EKG services to nursing homes, healthcare facilities, and other miscellaneous facilities. Your tasks and responsibilities will include:

Performing and processing X-Rays using portable digital (DR) or computed (CR) radiography equipment and submitting/transmitting them to a Radiologist for interpretation.
Unloading portable X-Ray equipment and taking it into facilities to perform exams ordered by the physician.
Obtaining clinically diagnostic and technically competent X-ray images.
Performing EKGs and transmitting them to a Cardiologist for interpretation, if required.
Scanning exam-related paperwork and billing documents on a daily basis per protocol.
Regularly communicating with dispatch and management.
Efficiently communicating and interacting professionally with peers, supervisory staff, and clients.
Maintaining the vehicle and X-ray equipment.

Candidate Qualifications:

To be considered for this position, you should meet the following qualifications:

Proven experience as a Radiologic Technologist.
Valid certification and registration as required by the state.
Ability to effectively operate portable digital (DR) or computed (CR) radiography equipment.
Strong knowledge of X-Ray and EKG procedures.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Physical Demands:

The Radiologic Technologists may need to push/pull anywhere from 50 to 100 lbs. In some situations, the weight can increase when moving the equipment within a facility or home. The ability to exert 50 lbs of force (or more) may be required up to 24 times a day.
