VitalCore Health Strategies (VCHS), an industry leader in Correctional Health Care, has an opening for a Certified Medication Technicianat Mecklenburg County Detention Center in Charlotte, North Carolina for Full-Time, Night Shift!

The following shift differential applies to this position:

• 2nd shift – (3p-11p) - $3
• 3rd shift – (11p-7a) - $4 (must work a minimum of 2 hrs. within this shift before becoming eligible for the differentials)
• Weekend - (Sat 12a – Mon,12a) - $4

CERTIFIED MEDICATION TECHNICIAN POSITION SUMMARY

The CMT delivers quality care consistent within the scope of practice as outlined by the local state. The CMT assumes responsibility and accountability for the quality of care delivered during work hours; works to ensure a safe environment for themselves, the patient and other staff members.

• Must possess a current and valid CMA / CMT certificate
• Works in accordance with local practice acts and regulations, and functions to other competent nursing personnel appropriate to their scope of practice
• Experience in corrections desired but not required
