Life Enrichment Coordinator -Activity

Walk-ins welcome, Monday through Friday 1:00PM - 5:00PM

Consider the opportunity to joining McGregor, Cleveland’s oldest private provider of residential services to seniors. We are seeking an experienced Life Enrichment Coordinator to implement activities that meet the needs and interests of Assisted Living/Independent Living residents.

Schedule: One weekday 6:00PM – 9:00PM, and every weekend 10:00AM – 2:00PM.

What you will be doing:

• Plan, schedule, and implement a program of individual and group activities, community outings, evening and weekend functions based on resident’s needs and interests.
• Provide accurate monthly calendars and daily activity sheets to inform residents of scheduled programs.
• Maintain Assisted Living/Independent Living/Senior Housing activity budget.

Experience you have:

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Prior experience in a social or recreational program providing and coordinating services for a frail or elderly population within the last two years, in a patient activities program in a health care setting.
• Experience working with frail elderly and persons with dementia. Art or music abilities a plus.
• MEPAP I or II Certification a plus.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Publisher, and basic internet and email capabilities.
