Full or Part - Time Associate Veterinarian

Full or part-time veterinarian wanted for expanding, privately owned, small animal veterinary practice in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. Lancaster County offers a reasonable cost of living, good public schools, theater, sports, and is close to beaches and mountains as well as New York, Philadelphia and Washington, DC. Practice offers soft tissue and orthopedic surgery, in-house lab, ultrasound, digital radiographs, high speed dental drill, acupuncture & behavior counseling. Support staff of 15 includes 6 veterinary technicians, 3 of which have additional dental training, for the current 3 doctors. Nursing staff places IV's, monitors all anesthetic procedures, and frees doctors to diagnose, prescribe, and perform surgery. No after hours emergencies. Salary is competitive, and benefits include health & dental insurance, professioanl dues, CE reimbursement and Simple IRA. After hours emergencies are referred to local emergency hospital, and while we are a patient-centered practice, we recogonize the importance of work-life balance.
