The Collision Center Estimator is responsible for taking calls and meeting customers to assess damage and cost to complete repairs to their RV. They are responsible for tracking progress of the repair and communicating with the customer on the progress of the job until completed. The Collision Center Estimator is responsible for writing the estimates and entering them into the appropriate system for tracking. The Collision Center Estimator contacts insurance providers, submits estimates, photos and supporting documents to support the damage claim to the insurance and serves as the point of contact to the customer and/or insurance. The Collision Center Estimator is also responsible for ordering parts and coordinating with the parts department.

Responsibilities:

• Appointment scheduling and walk in customer check in

• Inspecting for damages and evaluate if insurance, warranty, retail/self pay, internal
• Take necessary photos of damage
• Request parts department provide parts cost
• Research electrical issues and repair guidelines when needed
• Writing estimates and providing explanation to customer
• Obtaining necessary signatures
• Contact insurance agencies and discuss repair and timeline
• Order parts and help find N.L.A. parts
• Have admin staff coordinate sublet repairs and prepare a dispatch packet when job is authorized and/or parts come in
• Monitor job progress and assist with any issues on repairs
• If additional repair needed write supplements and negotiate with the insurance companies.

Requirements:

• 1 to 3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
• Knowledge of estimating software preferred
• Pre-employment screenings including background and drug test

• Understands and complies with Federal and State regulations
• Operates all tools and equipment in a safe manner
• Willingness to report any safety issues or concerns to management
• Ability to work 8 hours shift Monday-Friday and weekends as needed
• Valid driver’s license required
