We are seeking an experienced Purchasing Manager for direct hire opportunities with a global leader in the manufacturing automation / material handling field with a facility in the Columbus, OH area. The position is full-time and direct hire, with salary rates anticipated to range between $80,000 to $115,000 annually, depending on experience and education (we will consider paying more for the right skills). Qualified Purchasing Managers will have most, if not all, of the following skills and experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or Business and 7+ years of Purchase Management Experience, or 10+ years of Purchase Management experience, including project management, negotiation, vendor/supplier evaluation and management, bidding, quoting, and estimating, budget management. Manufacturing, Automotive, and/or Material Handling background is a benefit, but not a requirement.
• Experience with purchase orders, inventory reduction, and cost table development.
• Ability to liaise with all operations levels.
• Computer literacy with Microsoft Office, Excel, Project, etc., as well as purchasing MRP system experience. Syteline MRP and AutoCAD experience is a benefit, but not a requirement.
• Must be able to work in the United States (no H-1 sponsorship or student visas considered).
• Must be able to complete standard pre-hire checks including background, drug screen, references, etc.
