- Responsible for checking the quality of work performed on construction sites and remedying quality as necessary
- Provide direction to staff to ensure efficient and cost effective operation within approved operating budgets
- Responsible for total management of assigned staff. This includes hiring, disciplining, training and supervision of employees
- Coordinate construction plans with crews and sub-contractors
- Complete and maintain all necessary project paperwork
- Communicate with management on project progress and developments
- Serve as liaison between the Company, customers and utilities
- Responsible for ordering and tracking construction materials
- May lay-out and design construction maps, and work from the maps of others
- Responsible to identify unsafe/hazardous conditions for self, other employees, customers, and the general public
- Adhere to all established company safety policies and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned
Minimum Experience
- High school diploma or GED
- Must have at least five (5) years' experience as a communications construction supervisor
- Must possess a valid driver's license with 2 years' driving experience and a clear driving record
- Must have good customer relations and communication skills
- Maintain a professional attitude and appearance at all times
- Must have RF & OSP construction experience
- Be self-motivated with ability to following oral and written instructions
- Demonstrate the ability to interact effectively and cooperatively with a wide variety of personalities
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks and projects
- Be able to pass pre-employment drug screen and background checks
- Must be willing to travel
