Job Title: Electronic Validation & Test Tech - Rolling Stock

Compensation: $30+/HR (Based upon experience + education)

Shifts Available: Days and Nights schedules available

Project Status: Contract to Direct Hire / 40-Hour work week

Work Location: Philadelphia PA - 100% Onsite

Validation & Test Technician Job Responsibilities 'At-a-Glance':

Validation and electrical and mechanical testing for high-speed trains, railways, metros, etc…
Maintain data and records in Dewesoft Systems for testing and measurement results
Functional and qualification testing and troubleshooting for manufactured railway vehicles
Read and interpret electrical schematics and perform bench-top testing for components and devices
Use tools and instrumentations for compliance and safety procedures to test and validate electronics and product designs
Document and report data into computer software programs
Perform electrical and mechanical testing, troubleshooting and corrective actions for Single Car, Multi-Car and Rolling Stock vehicles including signaling services, systems, and mobility efficiencies
Provide feedback, offer technical solutions and interface with Engineers and team members

Required Skills, Education, and Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED
2 years' experience as an Electronic Test Technician in a manufacturing setting
2 years' of mechanical and electronic testing and validation experience
Team Player mentality and able to work in a fast-paced environment
Experience using manufacturing software for technical reports, documentation, and data acquisition solutions
Microsoft Suite or similar software

Preferred Work Skills, Education, and Qualifications:

Manufacturing testing with railways, rolling stock, metros or high-speed systems
Dewesoft Systems
AS Degree in a technical field and BS Degree in a technical field is preferred
