Job Summary:
The Recon Department at Varney Buick GMC Mazda is seeking a full-time individual to join their team in Bangor, Maine. This role is a vital part of the dealership's operations, as it involves preparing vehicles for resale and maintaining the overall appearance of the lot. As a member of the Recon Department, you will be responsible for ensuring that vehicles are in top condition, meeting quality standards and ready for customers to purchase. Compensation & Benefits:
This is a full-time hourly position with a competitive compensation range of $15 to $16 per hour.

Responsibilities:
- Inspect all incoming vehicles and identify any necessary repairs or maintenance
- Wash, wax, and detail vehicles to ensure high-quality presentation for buyers
- Conduct minor repairs and touch-ups, such as repairing scratches
- Monitor inventory levels of detailing and maintenance supplies and inform management of any needed restocking
- Keep lot and showroom areas clean and organized at all times
- Collaborate with sales and service departments to ensure timely delivery and pickup of vehicles for customers
- Follow dealership safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment at all times
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude while interacting with customers and colleagues

Requirements:
- 1-2 years of experience in automotive detailing preferred
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills
- Good physical dexterity and ability to work in various weather conditions
- Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record
