Requirements and Skills
High school diploma or equivalent; Diploma from a culinary school will be a plus.
Must have 2 years culinary arts or kitchen experience.
Experience in using cutting tools cookware and bakeware.
Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods (grilling, baking etc.)
Must be able to follow recipes accurately.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Must follow all food safety and quality procedures and requirements.
Must be willing to learn and grow with the company.
Must maintain a clean/sanitary appearance at all times.
Ability to work as a team player.
Dependable transportation a must
May require occasional traveling to events.
Responsibilities
Set up workstations with all needed ingredients.
Prepare ingredients to use in cooking (chopping, peeling, cutting meat etc.).
Cook food in various utensils or grillers.
Check food while cooking to stir or turn.
Ensure great presentation when serving or packaging.
Be able to package and label products for distribution.
Maintain a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen.
Ensure all food and other items are stored and labeled properly.
