Job Description

AMLI Evanston is looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician to join the team! As the Maintenance Technician , you will assist in maintaining the efficient operation and upkeep of the 214 unit building.

Duties include:

Perform maintenance services such as: HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, appliance repairs, glass replacement, etc.
Respond in a timely manner to resident service requests.
Turn vacant units to a "make ready" status.
Be available to work on call, including a rotating schedule of weekends and nights.
Conduct inspections as required, per policy and participate in preventative maintenance to include pool, exterior lighting, filter changes and apartment inspections.
Clean work area, tools and equipment. Care, maintain, and inventory all supplies and equipment owned by the property and/or the management company.

Requirements:

Minimum 1 year of related experience and/or training.
Availability for on call and weekend rotation
HVAC Certified (type 1 and 2 or Universal)
