Job Description:
We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing communications with customers regarding our new banking relationship. This role involves handling inbound and outbound calls to address customer inquiries and requests related to banking changes, new routing/banking information, and verification of banking details. Additionally, the Accounting Assistant will assist in maintaining organized records and providing support to the accounting team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take and make calls to/from customers regarding our new banking relationship.
- Request or provide information for banking changes, new routing/banking information, verification of banking information, etc.
- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and transactions.
- Collaborate with internal teams to address customer needs and ensure timely resolution of inquiries.
- Assist in administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and maintaining records.
- Utilize Excel, Word, or other accounting systems to streamline processes and maintain accurate records.
- Provide excellent customer service and professionalism in all interactions.
Requirements:
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Experience with Excel, Word, or other accounting systems preferred.
- Previous experience in customer service or administrative roles is a plus.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred but not required.
