Heavy Equipment Mechanic

Tired of flagging hours? We are looking for a Heavy Equipment Mechanic to assist with preventative maintenance and repairs of diesel equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Make mechanical and hydraulic repairs on fleet equipment.
- Equipment to include: Underground Directional Drills, 4 ton to Class 8 Trucks and Trailers, Vac Trucks and miscellaneous equipment.
- Run diagnostic tests and enter job information
- Perform electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical repairs as well as preventative maintenance
- Troubleshoot issues with gas and diesel engines
- Determine what parts and tools are necessary to make repairs
- Complete shop paperwork
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED certificate
- 4+ years of experience with diesel/heavy equipment repair
- Post-secondary certificate or degree in engineering OR training as a mechanic (a plus)
- Welding experience (a plus)
- Manual dexterity
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- Must be able to lift or move 50+ pounds
Additional Information:
- Hours 8am-5pm, Monday - Friday
- Benefits: Health Insurance & Paid Time Off
- Pay Based On Experience - $23.00 - $28.50 per hr
