Experienced Line Cooks

LINE COOKS needed
• Sandwiches: baking bread, using deli slicer, streamlining sandwich production
• Fryer/Grill: identifying cook temperatures, making multiple orders at once
• Pizza: Hand toss & stretch pizzas.
Specific skills sets are needed for each stations, but cooks must be able to move between stations for efficient delivery of our fresh quality food. Responsibilities include:
• Set up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies
• Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, using deli slicer, or preparing sauces)
• Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
• Answer, report and follow kitchen managers instructions
• Clean up station and take care of leftover food
• Stock inventory appropriately
• Carry & lift kitchen inventory up & down stairs – some bending through doorways required
• Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion
• Comply with sanitation regulations and safety standards
• Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
• Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks
PAY is based on experience and performance. Base pay starts at $18/hr + tips (averaged $4-$10/hr. additional to base pay), overtime Employee housing available on island.
