Job Description

InfraHire is looking for a Licensed Journeyman Electrician in La Moille, Illinois.

Job Description:

The Licensed Journeyman Electrician will undertake electrical tasks related to turbine and compressor controls, such as installing electrical equipment/control panels, laying conduit, pulling wire, terminating connections, and installing end devices.

Responsibilities:

Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and rectify issues with electrical wiring, fixtures, control devices, and equipment.
Interpret drawings, blueprints, electrical code specifications, and schematics to effectively diagnose, maintain, and rectify equipment.
Identify, locate, and repair faulty systems and components using diagnostic tools.
Conduct regular inspections of electrical systems, equipment, and components for preventative maintenance purposes.
Test electrical systems and ensure circuit continuity in wiring, equipment, and fixtures using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes.
Demonstrate proficiency in measuring, cutting, bending, threading, assembling, and installing rigid galvanized electrical conduit using appropriate tools like pipe threaders and conduit benders.
Adhere to all relevant organizational and federal safety regulations, codes, and specifications in all work conducted.

Qualifications:

Electrical Journeyman's License mandatory (from Any State).
Minimum of 5 years of Oil & Gas/Industrial experience required post obtaining the license.
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent qualification.
Preference for experience in Automation and Controls.
Preference for experience in Turbomachinery.
Proficient in wire pulling and termination.
Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
