Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced AWS Network Specialist to design and implement secure network solutions for video surveillance systems for our clients worldwide. This role requires a deep understanding of AWS services, particularly in network management and security, to ensure robust and reliable IP connectivity for high-definition video surveillance cameras.

Responsibilities:

• Design and deploy scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant networks on AWS for video surveillance systems.
• Configure and manage VPCs, subnets, NAT instances, network ACLs, and security groups to ensure secure and efficient network traffic flow.
• Implement and maintain VPN connections and Direct Connect to integrate AWS networks with client on-premise infrastructures.
• Collaborate with security teams to enforce network policies and monitor compliance with security standards.
• Optimize network performance to support real-time video data transmission across diverse geographical locations.
• Troubleshoot network issues and provide technical support to clients and internal teams.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest AWS features and best practices, and evaluate new AWS technologies that may benefit our network architecture.
• Document network setups and configurations for both technical staff and non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified Advanced Networking certification preferred.
• Proven experience in network design and operations, particularly within an AWS environment.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, VPN, etc.) and experience with network troubleshooting tools.
• Experience with video surveillance systems and their specific network demands is highly desirable.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work as part of a team or independently.
• Strong communication skills and fluency in English, both written and verbal.

Hours: Mon-Fri 8am-5pm or 7:30am-4:30pm

Pay: $30/hr (flexible pending experience)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
