Our Truck Dispatchers play a crucial role in coordinating and managing the schedules of truck drivers to ensure timely pickup and delivery of containers and cargoes. Here are the key responsibilities and qualifications for this position:

Truck Dispatcher Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Managing Truck Drivers’ Schedules and Routes:

• Scheduling drivers for freight and container deliveries or pickups.
• Planning pre-determined routes and accommodating changes as needed.
• Ensuring efficient use of driver time and resources.

2. Communication and Documentation:

• Communicating with customers regarding spotting details, delivery or pickup times, and special handling requests.
• Reviewing logs of truck drivers.
• Documenting all calls, deliveries, routes, and pickup/delivery times.

3. Customer Service:

• Handling customer complaints and inquiries.
• communicating changes in driver availability, route changes, ETAs, etc.

Truck Dispatcher Skills and Qualifications:

• Attention to Detail: Our truck dispatchers must be highly detailed to manage changing factors effectively.
• Time Management: Working well under pressure to coordinate multiple tasks.
• Communication Skills: Clear communication with drivers and customers.
• Logistics Knowledge: Understanding transportation regulations and laws.
• Problem-Solving: Handling route changes and unexpected situations.
• Customer Service Experience: Preferred.

Experience Requirements:
