Seeking a fulltime Rad Tech to work in Georgetown

Must have:
-American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
-Associate degree required (Graduate of a Program Discipline in Radiology) verified by KY state license.
-If an employee has a temp license, they have one year to obtain the ARRT or NMTCB.

Preferred:
-Bachelors degree

Work schedule/2 shifts available:
Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday or Wednesday, Thursday & Friday from 7:00am to 7:00pm.

Sign-on bonus:
$20,000 with a 2 yr. commitment/paid out in four installments over the first year.

Duties:
-Review patient history and physician's orders. Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment, and exam to ensure patient's understanding and cooperation.
-When ordered, prepare & administer contrast media and/or medications within scope of practice.
-Monitor patient condition continually & reports/responds to changes in status as appropriate.
-Prepare equipment and supplies. Select appropriate exposure factors and imaging parameters.
-Implement safety standards & perform appropriate quality control procedures on equipment.
-Troubleshoot, resolve, and/or reports equipment malfunctions as necessary.
-Position patients and perform imaging procedure(s).
-Analyze results and identifies issues with the quality of imaging results.
-Take appropriate action to resolve image quality issues, including repositioning patient & repeating procedure.
-Enters, transmits, and reports scan results.
