Job Description

Mattydale Animal Hospital located in Syracuse, New York is searching for a Full Time (RVT or LVT) Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our high quality AAHA hospital. We are a well established (over 50 years), 4 Dr hospital. Highly qualified support staff of 3 LVT, 8 veterinary assistants, and 4 receptionists. We provide primary care, preventive medicine, surgery, dentistry, and small animal care including exotics.

We have a large double surgery suite, heated adjustable surgery tables, pulse ox, Blood pressure, EKG monitoring. 5 exam rooms including a large visitation room. large treatment room, with readily accessible equipment and tools. 2 dental station wet tables, high speed dental equipment , dental scaler and polisher, and dental xray capabilities.

In addition to utilizing multiple outside laboratories, we have capability of in house blood chemistries.,well stocked in house pharmacy, access to ultrasound, endoscopy, colonoscopy.

Duties will include performing physical exams and diagnostic plan, surgery, dentistry o provide the highest quality care Communicating with clients on diagnoses, treatment plans, preventive health care, and nutritional needs
