Groundskeeper Porter (Part-Time)

PAY RATE: $13.00/hour, based upon experience

SCHEDULE: Mornings, Monday through Friday 

THE COMPANY: Real Equity Management is a design-build and property management firm, with a portfolio of assets centered around both commercial and residential real estate. Our primary focus, however, is in market-rate and student, multi-family communities. To date, we oversee leasing and manage over 300,000+ square feet of commercial and roughly 1,500 units across Missouri and Kentucky. 

THE GROUNDSKEEPER PORTER POSITION: Real Equity Management is currently seeking a part-time Grounds Maintenance Worker to assist our Maintenance Team in the upkeep of property conditions at our off-campus, student apartment complex, Midtown at WKU.

GROUNDSKEEPER PORTER JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Maintain the cleanliness of grounds and parking areas.
• Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the model tour route or route to target apartments.
• Perform minor maintenance of lawns and landscaping.
• Assist in the physical upkeep of the property.
• Check and replace exterior lighting on a regular basis.
• Perform trash-out duties at vacated apartments. Remove all abandoned furniture, trash and boxes.
• Pick-up and sweep dumpster areas.
• In the event of inclement weather, remove snow/ice from all road/walkways on the property and salt (or another method) when necessary for resident/associate safety.

GROUNDSKEEPER / PORTER JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Professional demeanor and ability to provide a high level of customer service
• Ability to work roughly 20 hours/week 
• Valid Driver's License
• Clean background
