Food Preparer

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Food Preparer to join our team As a Food Preparer, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and assembly of light breakfast items in our cozy coffee shop environment. Your attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of food quality and hygiene will contribute to the overall success of our establishment.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and assemble a variety of light breakfast items such as pastries, sandwiches, and breakfast bowls according to established recipes and standards.
• Ensure all food products are fresh, properly portioned, and presented attractively to customers.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment, utensils, and work surfaces.
• Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of ingredients and notifying management of any shortages or discrepancies.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to prevent cross-contamination and ensure compliance with health regulations.
• Collaborate with other team members to coordinate food preparation and service during peak hours.
• Provide friendly and efficient customer service by fulfilling special requests and accommodating dietary restrictions when necessary.
• Uphold a positive and professional attitude while working in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in food preparation or a similar role preferred.
• Knowledge of basic culinary techniques and kitchen equipment operation.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining food quality standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Food handler's certification or willingness to obtain one.
• Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
