Strongbridge LLC has an exciting opportunity for an IT Business Analyst/Technical Writer with a technical writing and communication/training background to support our work with our government customer. The IT Business Analyst will support our application requirements management, technical and System Development Lifecycle (SDLC) management and updates, user guide updates, and training for a suite of proprietary Government business applications and systems. Candidate must be clearable at the Public Trust level and be a US Citizen or Green Card holder.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as part of the team performing reviews and updates of application business needs, requirements, system documentation, quality, and process compliance.
  • Maintain a repository of documentation, software guides, policies and training materials to include version history.
  • Assist with periodic audits of documentation and materials to verify compliance with content, security, and policy standards.
  • Develop and maintain a library of live classroom/video teleconference based user training on the supported application suite.
  • Develop and maintain user self-training and self-help materials to include downloadable quick reference guides, web pages and web-based videos.
  • Deliver training through a variety of means such as virtual meetings, videos, classroom-based sessions, and user reference guides.


Basic Qualifications:
  • Min 5 years' experience in IT-related operations and/or management environment, including development and maintenance of SOPs, requirements, system documentation, customer stakeholder communications, and similar tasks.
  • Min 5 years' experience in developing and delivering IT user training, particularly in the area of specialized proprietary applications, and preferably in support of Government contracts.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and attention to schedule requirements.
  • Strong written communication skills, to include technical documentation, user software guides and training materials, SOPs, etc., including text and graphics. Excellent grammar, spelling, and the ability to write content for targeted audiences is required.
  • Strong verbal communication skills, to include virtual and in-person meetings, online and in-person training, including the ability to engage with a broad range of stakeholders of all technical levels.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products, Adobe Acrobat, and video teleconferencing software such as Microsoft Teams.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast paced and demanding environment


Desired Qualifications:

o ITIL certification or other ITSM implementation experience
o Experience in Government software development, application support, or related areas
o Knowledge of ISO and CMMI
o Experience in application user interface design and functional testing

o Experience working in Azure DevOps environment
