Inside Technical Sales Rep (Electrical AC and DC power knowledge req) Description

Our client is looking for an Inside Technical Sales Rep to add to their team in Pataskala, OH. In this role, you will be trained on AC and DC power and control systems products to assist customers with quotes and purchases. The need is for an individual that can learn the application details of products and become a resource of information and support to customers and the outside sales team. To be successful in this role, you must have excellent communication skills along with a sincere focus on serving customers. Ideal candidates will have a technical aptitude and a desire to learn and grow their careers. Inside Technical Sales Rep (Electrical AC and DC power knowledge req) Responsibilities

• Review and interpret external project specifications and drawings
• Review factory drawings and bills of material
• Prepare customer proposals and quotations
• Create suggested specifications
• Respond to customer application, pricing, and configuration questions
• Manage customer expectations
• Follow up on requests
• Recognize opportunities for cross-selling/promotion of related products and services
• Support company marketing efforts
• Compile sales and activity reports as may be required
• Coordinate all activity with paired Outside Sales Representative

Inside Technical Sales Rep (Electrical AC and DC power knowledge req) Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or higher required
• Inside sales or customer service experience required
• Basic understanding of electricity (AC and DC power) and basic principles (ohms law) required
• Microsoft Office experience required
